Hello and welcome to JollyBooks.
My name is Karen Longden and I set up JollyBooks with the aim of helping sole traders, landlords and small business owners keep their financial records up to date and ensure their tax returns are completed accurately and on time. At the same time I also provide professional support to help businesses realise their growth ambitions.
I would like to help you by offering you the benefit of my years of experience in finance to manage your bookkeeping, accounting and tax requirements.
My Story
I am a Sheffield based accountant with over 30 years of experience in financial management and accounting and I am passionate about sharing the skills I have acquired with business owners so that you can spend less time worrying about your books and more time focusing on your business needs and keeping your customers happy. I work with both established and new business owners and anyone out there who has plans to become self-employed but needs help understanding the financial and legal requirements.
I am a fully trained & certified partner for FreeAgent and Xero software solutions and I use these products to support my customers accounting and self assessment requirements. Don’t worry if you do not currently manage your accounts electronically I can still help you. As we move towards the Making Tax digital HMRC requirements I will work with you to provide you with the most appropriate software solution in order to simplify the many complexities of the Making Tax Digital changes. I will provide the necessary training and support so that you can use the software as intuitively as possible with a promise that your life will be made much easier as a result.
